The UMN Sustainable Development Goals Initiative is pleased to announce another round of the SDG Research Grants Program, which awards grants of up to $20,000 to faculty and research staff to support SDG-aligned projects. We are now accepting applications.

Current faculty, and academic and research staff from academic units throughout the University of Minnesota system are eligible. Grant proposals should clearly demonstrate how the project will both advance known needs locally and globally, and also how it will contribute to at least one SDG including, if possible, linking to specific SDG targets and indicators.

Priority is given to proposed projects that most closely align with MPact 2025, the University of Minnesota System-wide Strategic Plan and specifically the three MNtersections.

Deadline: 4:00 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 30, 2022
