For biomedical engineering major Camila Naranjo Colmenares, CSE is all about real-world impact!

When devastating earthquakes struck her home country of Venezuela, she partnered with the Anderson design lab and utilized our campus 3D printers to design and distribute life-saving thermomoldable splints and neck braces.

Thanks to the Taylor Student Projects Fund – which grants CSE students up to $500 for personal projects – and the technical guidance of the Anderson staff, she turned a critical humanitarian need into an active, hands-on response.
