University of Minnesota Duluth alumnus Stephen Chow Sau-yan has been appointed to the College of Cardinals by Pope Francis. Chow is currently the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong. Chow, who was born in Hong Kong, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Philosophy (double majors) from UMD in 1982, and a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology in 1984.
