Nate Knatterud-Hubinger is executive director at nonprofit Mano a Mano International. As a CLA undergraduate in the early 2000s, he studied abroad in Chile and also in Quito, Ecuador, on the MSID—International Development in Ecuador program.

University students majoring in languages bring personal experience to the program.

Tiktok is known for its videos featuring cute pets, shopping hauls, recipes, and dance trends. Now instructors are using it in the language classroom to showcase languages as people actually speak them around the world.
